Memory Care Connections

Meet our Portland, OR - Oregon Episcopal HS Leaders

Nora Carpenter

Oregon Episcopal School Co-President

I brought Memory Care Connections to OES in fall of 2024 as club leader because I wanted students to have the opportunity make connections with seniors and have a meaningful impact on their community. This year I am excited to take on the additional role as National Executive Director.

Memory care residents are often forgotten about, and I believe that this program will not only help bring awareness and help the residents create connections and form bonds.

Piper Savage

Oregon Episcopal School Co-President

I chose to be involved with Memory Care Connections for the chance to help a struggling community in my city. When beginning my engagement in this club, I was hopeful that my willingness to foster genuine connections with senior residents would create positive change in their everyday lives. Knowing ways I can bring about this change mattered most to me because I got the opportunity to visit senior living homes in earlier years for the purpose of volunteering, which influenced my dedication to this form of service.
